Hi, I am Dr. Vishal Gavande and I am a PostDoc Researcher. I am working as a Research Professor (PostDoc) at Pukyong National University, Busan, Republic of Korea. My current focus is on polymer nanocomposites, biopolymers, and polymers and composites.

My name is Vishal Gavande

Enthusiastic, sincere, and dedicated polymer technologist working as a Research Professor (PostDoc) in the Surface Analysis Laboratory at Pukyong National University, Busan.
Born in a small village in Utran, Jalgaon District, and completed primary and secondary schooling in a local government school. I pursued my Diploma in Plastic Engineering from Government Polytechnic Nasik and my Bachelor in Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. Afterward, I qualified for the Gate exam and secured admission to one of the prestigious institutes in India, i.e. Delhi Technological University, New Delhi. I completed my Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Polymer Engineering from Pukyong National University, Busan
My research interests include the synthesis and fabrication of biopolymers, nanofiber-reinforced composites, polymer composites, UV-curable coatings, Ultra-high molecular weight polymers, polymer blends, and nanocomposites.

I have written my Ph.D. dissertation entitled "Tough and Transparent Electrospun Nanofiber-reinforced Composites: Fabrication, Properties, and Modeling." I have published 11 research papers and 1 patent in my Ph.D. career. I have got 5 times the best poster award for Poster presentation at several national and international conferences.

I have completed a bachelor's degree with a first class in Polymer Engineering. At this time, my research interest was in polymer composites since it was my favorite subject.
